Renewal House Mother’s Day Fun Run and Walk held May 10th was a huge success this year.  The run/walk was held at the Remington Recreation Trail, Partridge Run Golf Course; a morning filled with plenty of sunshine and a genuine feeling of community support.  There were 110 participants and 36 sponsors who helped raise $5,464, an increase of $2,517 over last year. 

 

This year, each participant had the opportunity to reach out to members of the community for individual run/walk sponsorship.  Participants who raised the most money were awarded prizes in the following categories:  11 and under, Aaron Cobb, $290; 12 and over, Shanna Gaulin, $175; Team, Ruby’s Roadside Grill, $630.  Other awards included; Purple Spirit Award, presented to Adrienne Boswell and an Early Registration Award presented to Peggy Kinney.
