Race Information General Information
Set in the countryside surrounding the Northern New York hamlet of Madrid the Madrid Bluegrass Ramble provides the runners with a beautiful rural atmosphere featuring a mostly flat course with some gently rolling hills. Summer will be in full bloom as racers run past farms and fields with plenty of cows on hand to keep you mooo-ving. Race Day Schedule

In addition to the terrific course, with mile markers, water stations and medical personnel, the post race festivities on the bank of the Grasse River, including refreshments, door prizes and awards combine to make this a top notch event. The start and finish of the race are adjacent to the Bluegrass Festival and finishers in the 1/2 marathon 10K and 5K will get reduced admission to the festival. Plan to stay after the race to relax, recover and take in the great music, on the stage and in the campground jam sessions.
